Tasted vis-a-vis the 2014, this is much richer, heavier, more tutti-frutti. Still a young wine, very sexy, very easy to love – if you love Condrieu. I do. Also on day 2, certainly, seems a bit more relaxed now. #lunch#H&N&Co.

Deep yellow color. Exotic, tropical fruits. Seems further ahead than the 2011, also richer in nature, more bold. Interestingly this firms up after a few hours of air, turns more tight and mineral. On the night, the 2011 was my favorite, this one needs more cellar time I think.

A: gold, developed N: Roses P: Light on entry then very thick and substantial. Rose water and mango. Fully Dry. Weighty, alcoholic finish. =: a substantial serious wine. not to everyone's taste (e.g Celia). Great match for the hake in white wine/garlic/parsley.

Rich and opulent Condrieu, young, even with a hint of wood. Needs plenty of air to open up and is much better on day two. Is on notes of orange, melon, minerals, still typical Condrieu at its heart. Needs more time.

Lighter than the Chanson, who outperformed it tonight, tutti-frutti, honey, minerals, very young wine with lots going on; others thought it oxidized, could not have been further from the truth, on day 3, this is still singing with no signs of fatigue whatsoever.
