Was a touch hot and sour, per the other notes, but after sitting for 3hrs uncorked (not decanted) it mellowed into something far more interesting, balanced, expansive and lively. Glad I have more.

Deep ruby colour Berry compote aromas with vanilla notes. Sour cherry, a bit tart on initial taste, which softens with food Very Berry The wine exhibits all of its origins, like an unfortified dry Port. Lovely rounded fruit finish

I was expecting more, much more. This is a lot of wine but all one-dimensional. A nice wine but not worth the 45 euro's I paid. 10-12 euro's and I would be happy. ...looking back I see that I paid 65!! Pure scan and not worth it.

I was exepwcring more. Felt a bit hot and maybe slightly unbalanced. Tannins we’re firm but integrated. A hint of smoke and then also deep dark berries. At approximately $90 definitely not a value and not sure I would buy again.

Ripe, modern style reminiscent of CA Cabernet in structure but with the distinctive aromas and palate of indigenous port varietals. Rich, well integrated and supple tannins.
