Single vineyard line Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi CA house MichaelDavid Vintage 2012 Blackcurrant and oak dominates the aromas as is house standard Full body. Fruity sweet attack, counterbalanced by medium+ acidity and a burning alcohol sensation. Despite it's Cabernet origin tannins are not easily felt and mostly oaky of origin. Medium+ finish that doesn't reveal anything that wasn't in the aromas already. Nice overall wine but overpriced.

Great Lodi Cab. Full of dark fruits, vanilla, hint of tobacco. Light sweet tannin, balanced acidity. Not a Napa Cab here, so you won't find any green character here. Easy drinking with a Zinfandel like finish.

Deep dark purple with a nose of blackberry jam, cigar box and leather.
On the palate this is a dense rich wine with blackberry, plum, spice and a slight herbal finish. This wine needs a nice fatty steak so the tannin can wrap around the fat protein and soften it up.
Good wine, limited complexity good steak house wine.
