  Dark colour, cherry & herbs with vanilla on nose, more like plums on palate with spices, tar notes etc. Long balanced palate vgvfm.

  We loved this. It's not high-falutin' but it's complete. It's starting to mature nicely, it's got fruit, charm and appeal in abundance, and it's delightful.

  Deep colour for Pinot - violets aniseed and rich cherry nose, more damsons on a long palate with hints of chocolate coffee etc - lovely and a bargain

  Sweet black truffled earth, vinyl and dry oatmeal on nose. Lots of tart cherry, juicy black plum, jammy black cherry, tiny hint of crabapple. Pretty enamel-gripping, intense acidity (as with the last 2013 I tried). Some tiny umami layers already--like a brown sugar and fish sauce thing on the accumulative finish. Really wish I could just snap my fingers, age this five years, and taste it again. Young and brooding, full of upside--the pleasure is all about tiny, promising allusions at this point.

  Loved this. All the finesse that I look for in wines of this level and then some. Tannins are plentiful but fine and has good concentration. Great value.
