Quite tasty. Muted, but full bodied dark fruit on the nose and palette. Amazing how this 100% temparnillo is so soft and drinkable compared to a a 2006 Panarroz from Jumilla, which is much more rustic and harsh.

Deep purple color. I was surprised by its deep color. First impression--very smooth, low tannin. There was a plummy, or prunish quality to taste, however, which I didn't really like. I left some in the glass and monitored smell for several hours. It really developed a nice aroma, but it is not as fruity and light as I remember. It is past the CT drinking window now by two years--could the color remain good, but the taste deteriorate? Don't know. I'll give it an 89 on smell, but an 85 on taste.

Three years has passed since we plonked down the lolly for this jolly wine. Wow! Was ever $11 and change e'er better spent? Whereas back in the day there was youthful angles, now there is a maturity and smoothness which makes for a rich, balanced gustatory experience. Rich, dense red color. Plenty of content: wood, smoke, bacon, berry fruit. Loved this.
