  Kind of odd on open, a lot of funk and musk. I was worried at first it might be corked but after 1-2 hours it blew off and evened out. Interesting bottle with plenty of Vosne spice and character. I will pair future bottles with Asian or Mexican food.

  Petits Monts diagonal: Very seductive nose with more than noticeable amounts of VA, high-toned dark red cherry fruit. Had an obvious spice note on both nose and palate, very sweet but not candied fruit. I like wines with lift normally but this was a little over the top for me. Also felt that this wine was not meant for much further ageing.

  Light color, lifted red fruits, Vosne spice, with floral and earth notes. Opened up after 30 minutes in the glass to show a balanced middle weight with sweet red fruit, lots of earth and spice mixed in, nice finish. Quite elegant and drinkable

  What a beautiful wine this is. Seductive and captivating floral nose. Seamless oak integration, precision, balanced acidity held together by a beautiful mineral backbone. So lovely! Was WOTN in a lineup of 98 Chave Blanc, 09 Allemand Reynard, 09 Allemand Chaillot and 02 Krug.

  Tout simplement wow ! Une bouche caressante gorgée de cerise, de rose et d’épices asiatiques. Grande longueur. Rien n’accroche sur ce vin. Je voudrais bien voir ce vin à 10-12 ans. Malheureusement c’était une bouteille unique ! Faudra voir sur d’autres millésimes.
