Way too young. There was some quality here, but it needs years yet - this really felt like it was still in its infancy. The nose was a blast of sweet cherry fruit, fresh stalked flowers and new oak with a ring of sulphur at the sides. The palate was still coated with a layer of powdery, teeth-coating tannins and bright acidity, making ring a bit harsh. Beneath that though, there was a nice clarity to its dark cherry and spice notes leading into a ringingly pure finish that lingered nicely in the backpalate. The drying texture was rather disturbing, but I think this should get bette with time - there is certainly some quality here.

VR Chaumes Dinner: Spice some ripe cherry notes. Rich and layered on the palate with fine tannin. Slightly extracted for a burg more so than i would have liked. Regardless very well made as wine is well balance but just not my style.

PnP. Very expressive aromatics. Sappy and sweet/candied red fruit on the palate. Open and approachable. Medium minus finish. Enjoyable to drink but doesn't quite have much Vosne typicity and character.

Muted black fruits, chewy texture, very good depth, out classed by the 13 Fourrier Latricieres Chambertin
