So much chablis from this house has gone straight down the sink. Not today! Golden colour. On the nose - lemon cream, breathe deep and there's a hint of incense. On the palate - rich, lovely acidity, again some lemon and candied lemon. Yum.

The best of what 2013 can show, with the sweetness totally softened and harmonized into a seemingly rich package, though clearly mature. Fun and layered now, good for the next 2-5 years in 750.

This was delightful tonight with pretty green and stone fruit, oyster shell, nori, firm minerality and some brisk acidity at its core. The mouthfeel is fairly delicate but with quite abit of sneaky depth. All in all, quite nice.

Domaine Dublère Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 5, Visit 4) (Savigny-lès-Beaune): Popped-an-poured at the domaine, after telling Blair that I am not much of a fan of 2013 Chablis. This was certainly an exception, showing just enough of the vintage's sweetness, but everything in balance. Plenty of apple and pear with good length.

Consistent with my previous note. This has been and continues to be a great wine with a great qpr. It’s a shame they’re going away.
