Very minerally at first. After an hour or two of air - nice red fruit (cherry), good minerality. Good acidity. Some slight vosne spice. Really enjoyable.

beaucoup d'extraction et meme sensation d'alcool, effet millésime sur ce vin presque sudiste. mais belle texture en bouche, une allonge et grande fraicheur. Pas sûr de la longévité de ce vin.

Nez de fruits noirs, un peu compoté, qui annonce une bouche riche, un peu déséquilibré par la perception excessive d'alcool. Un peu lourdeau. Curieux de voir comment ce vin va évoluer avec le temps. Cette question se pose pour bien des vins de ce millésime solaire.

A bit of a slow burn. Initially ripe notes move towards a lovely, perfumed, quite Burgundian nose. Stalk, hints of briquette, hyper-cherry and boysenberry. The palate is a bit less interesting than the nose and could definitely stand a little more acid--but this is lovely nonetheless. With more aeration there is clearly a load of structure that starts to overwhelm and shut down the ample fruit. A note of astringency mars an otherwise very nice wine.
