An outstanding Cabernet with polish and poise. However, a serious decant is a must for immediate consumption, for this is big by design. The Dry Creek Cabernets can be a bit much at times - reminiscent of Paso Robles - and this is pushing the envelope, yet there is finesse; admittedly there's acidity. Black cherry, wet leather, currant paste and toasty oak; the medium finish ends with vanilla. She will cellar well for at least a decade. Drink 2017 - 2027.
