Lovely clear and crisp red berry nose. The mouth, however, is much darker and a little 'muddy'. Good concentration and length. May still have a little development ahead.

Really rich and deep wine. Doesn't have the grace of wines up on the combe, but it is a village wine after all. Certainly enough leathery, earthy, Gevrey quality to make it recognizable as such, but really a unique expression of it. Might be a fun wine to have around, but I'm definitely on the fence about it. If I were a wealthy man, this might make a fun "house Burgundy".

Sweet and delicate PN fruit on the nose. Sweet creamy, meaty and generous on the palate. Surprisingly vigorous, fresh and elegant for the vintage.
