Hunter Valley - 6 Cellar Doors (Hunter Valley): {screwcap, 8%, A$27} Off-dry style. No botrytis. A bit soft on the acid; that 8% strength reflects the remaining sugar unfermented in the wine; it’s not too sweet thankfully, but it’s not a terribly nuanced offering. Straw, grass and honey; there’s a real lick of sweetness pervading the wine. Finish is a bit short and one-dimensional.

Hunter Valley 2016 Trip #1 (Hunter Valley, Australia): Herb, lemon and apple. Sweetness is a little more apparent than an off dry level. Medium length. Pretty tasty but doesn't have a lot of substance.
