Loire Valley Masterclass and Tasting: Kirsch, ash, some florals with time in the glass. Rustic styled palate, with the tannins showing nicely against the austere fruit and that ashy element coming through strongly. At first I didn't think I liked this but by the end of the glass it had drawn in my interest and I really came around to it.
