  Decanted for 3 hrs. Dark medium density garnet color; dark fruit and cherries on the nose with a hint of pine; medium to light bodied, dark cherries and spice are supported by mild tannins. Generous acidity and heat carry the fruit on through the finish. Not a lot of complexity here, but quite enjoyable with a dinner of roasted chicken, redskin potatoes, carrots and herb stuffing.

  A bit disappointing considering the hype. Tannic and unbalanced upon opening. Smoothed out after some decanting. Clearly not made in the "New World" style. This producer has potential, but I think this one is overrated.
