Tasted with 2015 The Quote. Two very different wines—I think it went from mostly Merlot to mostly Cabernet Sauvignon in that time. The 2013 was inviting from start, with sweet red fruit and baking spice flavors. It’s drinking very well now and didn’t change much even after 2 hours in a decanter. It lacked the complexity of the 2015, which starts out herbal and tannic and still needs a lot of air to open, but it’s a pleasure to drink.

Winery tasting and allocated to wine club members. This is comprised of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc in a "Right Bank" look alike. What makes this wine unique is there is no sulfur used in the wine making process to stop fermentation, instead there is an ozone process that has been developed. A bit of upfront jamminess, displaying red plums and berries, and cherries. Soft in the mouth but flows through with a big finish. Approachable now.
