  Light golden hue with apple, vanilla, and prominent lees notes on the nose. Fairly light and lively on the palate compared to typical Napa Chardonnay without evidence of buttery notes from malolactic fermentation.

  Barrel-fermented and aged for 12 months in neutral oak, this straw-colored wine offers aromas and flavors of spiced apples, vanilla, minerals and tropical fruit. Medium-bodied and with freshness attributable to avoidance of malolactic fermentation, it stays solid in the middle and shows no heat from its 13.0% alcohol. The wine's oak component is subtle and the finish is medium in length. Enjoy this quality Chardonnay over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2019.
