Popped open and poured, in light of my experience with my previous two bottles (which I slow ox’d for a while, only to find acid a bit lacking). This bottle indeed drank better than the last one. As usual, it displayed one of the most unique and intoxicating noses I have come across in a CA PN. The usual bright red cherries often present in CA PNs, but also a great waft of salinity, moss, and morning ocean air. Also samphire. Really transports one to the ocean and how its smells on a foggy morning. Delicious on the palate too. Cherries (darker than before), a touch of cranberries (less pronounced than before), herbs, moss, salinity, and just enought acidity to keep this fresh and lively on the palate.

In decline? Or a somewhat off bottle? Not quite sure. Still enjoyable, esp. on the nose, but less vibrant and unique than a yr ago - esp. on the palate. Don’t get me wrong, still very good - just not as good as a year or two ago. Nose is still beautiful, with salinity, moss, and ocean spray on top of red fruit. The palate, though, was a bit flat. Lovely acidity, but subdued fruit - and the little fruit there is is now darker than before. Less lively on the palate than before.

Unfortunately the previous note for Bravo.Solares was right for us too. Still quite good but really less interesting compared to 2.5 years ago. Right now, we tasted some red berries and plums, nectarines, with hints of toast, vanilla and caramel. When we first tasted it, we also could taste marine saltiness, iodine and coffee aromas which, sadly, seem gone. Drink now.

Has changed quite a bit over the last 6-12 months. This bottle was a bit less unique and a bit more varietally typical. Still beautiful like before, but the very unique marine notes/ocean fog and salinity were more muted than before. The cherry was still there. The wine was less bright, less high toned in general. More evolved, rounder, than before. More forest floor, still some moss. Delicious. Will revisit in 6-8 more months. Most curious as to where this will go.
PS: To me, this wine drank best after breathing in the bottle for 60 mins.

Drank at Diavola. Very similar to my last bottle (previous note applies).
