I've had this in storage for the last 4 years. I was a little concerned with how this was going to hold up but what an amazing experience. Wonderfully rich, light oak and butter, caramel, apple, and pear. The slight acidity on the backend has disappeared. This chardonnay has evolved very well and am happy to say I have 2 bottles left.

This one was interesting. My only bottle and came with a captivating nose. Great front and mid palate with notes of lemon zest, pineapple, and apple. Hot a little heat on the finish and a tad bit of an astringent finale (possibly the acid level was just a hint off). It was a nice showing. Onto the next vintage

It is still drinking nicely with tropical fruit, rich and oaky. Nothing subtle in this older style California chardonnay. It wouldn't be my choice for a casual glass on a hot summer day but held it's own, without overpowering, an alder smoked salmon dinner. Happy I still have 3 bottles left in my cellar. I think this will still be holding up for at least the next few years.

A bit more golden yellow than my last bottle....a wonderful nose of lemon curd, vanilla and baked apples with the same rich palate dominatd d by creamy pear and green melon. A very yummy expression of a chard with warm tropical notes indicative of its terroir. It's all about what you like and expect in a chardonnay and imo what's not to like here. I disagree with the naysayers on this thread...if you like a warm, buttery, tropical chard then this is right up your alley. If not, then this is not for you. Best get yourself something more Burgundian in style. Drink up.

underwhelming, maybe flawed. Let rest for a day in the refrigerator. Ultimately poured it out.
