Started off lean and reductive but decanting helped. Violets, dujac spice, raspberry and smoke. Round raspberry fruit with hint pepper and herbs. Needs time.

Domaine Dujac Cellar Visit and Tasting (Morey St.-Denis): Tasting at the domaine. For me this is a big step up in terms of complexity from the Combottes. Red cherry and berry with lots of spice. Same overall flavor profile, starting lean and elegant, unfolding into something more broad, dense and nuanced. This should really age gracefully and turn into an excellent layered wine 2020 forward.
