Retailer Cote de Nuits Tasting: Medium ruby color. Apparent oak initially in the aromas, with cherry/pomegranate fruit, saddle leather and smoked paprika. Pure and bright fruit on the palate with floral and mineral accents and secondary spice density. Elegant density in the mid-palate, finishing with fine tannin and moderate length.

We had this over 30mins and frankly at this stage of its life it needs some decanting although what it really needs its patience in the cellar. Dark fruited but on the softer side and barring a bit of a grippy tannin it’s a round wine. Needs a bit more time to develop and show more complexity buts definitely drinks happily now. Just only showing a glimpse of what possible it can deliver once it hits its full stride which according to mr Meadows is post 2025... from us for now a 90-91

Darker, crimson. Black fruit, baking spices. Slightly grippy. Lovely blackberry on palate.

Sweet and tart fruit, fresh almost watermelon, plum and dark cherry, tense, should be very nice but requires some age.
