  • Developed a lot of old leather, tobacco and smoky notes since last taste 3 years ago (where it was more fruit driven). Best case is if the fruit remerges after further aging to balance the dominant tertiary notes now. 92 for now

  • Luxury cuvee from Cave De Tain - picked from old wines from the vineyards l’Hermite and le Méal - 19 months in new French oak. Nose: oaky, dark fruits, spices, chocolate, some leather, very complex! Mouth: all dark fruits followed by perfect acidity and finishes with sweet dark fruit and some serious tannins. Excellent structure and very long finish, 20+ seconds. Too young, will be better in a few years - needs some time to balance the oak and the tannins. Blockbuster wine - somewhat overpriced. 95 pt.
