Blind, I guessed Italy, Sangiovese but chianti classico and 2009. I like the acidity and the reluctant fruit of cherries and red berries. A bit too tannic, could be more balanced but good with food. 90

To the previous comments...where? This was flat, lacking any character, certainly not the finest of a DOCG Brunello. We expect a lot from BdMs but please give me at lease an A- effort. Just not there, sorry. Cheers.

Splash decant. Flat and lacking character. Not much beyond some cherry on the palate. Still some tannins. Expected more from a 2010 brunello.
