Seriously rustic, showing bio-dynamic elements, barnyard, prepared meats, herbs, dried fig, and mineral depth. Well balanced, gripping, and substantive. Probably the best QPR of 16 CdPs.

Notes from CDP tasting - This is a producer i've wanted to try for a while and it over performed! Funky bright umami for days, with graphite, flowery, grainy fruits with some gravel dust, bright fruits and some the of secondary notes of herbs, basil and earth but in it's youthful only accents. Will track down more of all their bottlings for sure.

85% Grenache and 5% each of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Excellent winemaking as maximum elegance is derived from this blend. Spicy Black Cherry dominates from the nose through the finish. The alcohol adds to the kirsch-like mystique. While this is not a 15 year keeper, it should be ejoyable through the next few years. Tremendous bargain.

In a nice spot. Red fruit, pepper, and bacon fat aromatics. Lush and hedonistic, yes. But it’s also nuanced and balanced.

Well-balanced, supple, smooth. 15% but taste much lower.
