  Popped and poured. Aroma of lemon and kumquat. Flavors of minerals, citrus oil, stone fruit. The vanilla finish is oakier than I would like. A well made wine that has a lot going for it, but it's not to my taste.
  
  Day 2: Oak is much better integrated. There's still more there than I like, but it's no longer obscuring the fruit, which is shining through. The current drinking window here shows 2018 as an end date, I disagree. I think this needs more time.
