This starts off with that soft fruit profile I associate with Mosel. But then in the mid palate and finish it jumps into bracing acidity. This seems really really young. Note to self. Wait at least three, and ideally five, years for next one.
On day two, the acid is more integrated into the soft fruit. Really delicious.

A nicely made dry Riesling. Not an excess of acid and plenty of nice fruit. Good drinking alone and with seafood. I think a sweet version of this wine would be better than this dry version.

Watery green, transitioning into pale straw. A chalky nose, consisting of bath salts, lime, lemon zest and kerosene. A full flavoured and rather tart granny smith apple like palate. Also, impressions of green nettle, slate, and just the whisper of honey peeking through on the back palate. It is dry and very high in acidity. This cellaring style Riesling is tracking nicely with its development, possessing what it takes to have a long future ahead of it. Will keep my remaining bottles for a few more years before sampling again.

Refer to my 2016 TN; that summarizes this bottle quite well.

Acid plus, and crisp, full bodied. Lacks flavor intensity as you would like to see in a good Riesling.
