Nice nose of pine needles, mint, tobacco, leather and sous bois. Med-full bodied, this is just delightful with plenty of fragrant red and black cherries. Supple, with bright acidity and some grippy tannin. Still fresh, this shoudl have quite a few more years in front of it. But be careful with the decant, this was better at the 30-60 minute mark. Drinking beautifully now but I am sure will age wonderfully over next ten years. Unmistakening Barolo. Sour cherry fruit and a long finish. Pleasant with or without food. Perfectly balanced. Drink or Hold

Had at F of F and Wine Society dinner. Paired with CO. boneless Loin of Lamb wrapped in caul-persillade,baby articoke ...and Demi lamb tartare-essence of merguez,fresh quail egg,baby toasted brioche. This wine is very young. Paired well after a long decant. Needs a few more years and has a long life.

2.5 hours post-decant.
