Took this out of fridge to let it warm up for 20 minutes or so, and was welcomed back to lifted aromas of ripe peach, dried spiced apricot, lemon curd, honeysuckle, and toasted almond with hints of brioche and creme brulee. On the palate, it's full bodied with ample acidity and great texture. It shows ripe white peach, baked pear, apricot, lemon curd, baking spice, vanilla and honey flavors accented with a very appealing kiss of salinity.

Well, I don’t drink much Chardonnay but I knew when I bought this it would be special when it was time to open it. This bottle was stellar. I really don’t have the words for it sorry to say but I’ll try— Sometimes nutty, rich, some saline and mineral, just a complex svelte intellectual drink. A wild ride -seafood, steak or other this is formidable. I drank over 3 days. A decant can’t hurt this if you do it in one sitting. This would be my Monte Bello of choice instead of waiting 20 years for its red sibling to come around. This can go another 5+ years easy.

Delicious. Tropical fruit and pear with moderate oak and only slight creaminess. Pretty close to perfect. Great with cracked crab, beets, and gigante beans. A very nice birthday dinner wine.

Annual Friendsgiving Gathering (M/M thelostverse): A bottle tlv had opened a day prior, there was about half a bottle left to finish. Toasted marshmallow, ripe apple and fig notes. An abundance of orchard fruit on the palate, with noticeable but balanced oak influence. I tend to love these MB chards, and this vintage is yet another in that line.

淡金黄色,闻香有芝麻和奶油爆米花的香气,入口酸度中高,酒液咸,口感油滑,奶油香味很浓,植物根茎的味道同样明显,还有些许梨一类的核果气息,伴随着芝麻香,后段有点苦,有酒精感,余味是奶油面包香气。酒体不轻,醒酒三个半小时,酒的状态更加开放,芝麻香爆棚,白花的辛辣感也变得明显,一点玉米的味道,回苦依然明显,余味满口奶油饼干。一支很有记忆点的酒,游刃有余的用桶让酒在口中宽广而又有厚重感,虽然植物的味道不算太愉悦,但也胜过满口的热带水果,反而让它显得更有深度。它不是今晚最取悦人的酒,但是如此特别,让人忘不了。
