  • Prior bottle was only five months ago, so my notes were very similar. Black and red cherry along with spices and earth notes on the nose. Again between medium and full bodied and showing red cherry and red berry notes upfront, moving to black cherry through the middle. Just a touch of red raspberry for this bottle and nice little hint of plum towards the back. There was a bit more richness and depth through the middle than I recalled in my prior bottle with balance still provided by tart red cherry, spices and integrated tannins. Very silky, elegant and expressive, especially through the mid-body and finishing transition. This was my last bottle, but pleased it was able to go out on such a high note.

  • Prior bottle was 2 years and 2 months ago and this wine continues to impress. Red raspberry, red cherry along with spices and earth notes on the nose which has retained its brightness, but feels more balanced. Just above medium bodied with red raspberry with nice brightness upfront, supported by more rounded black cherry. Mid-body has elegance and depth, adding red and black cherry with tart red cherry and just a touch of plum behind. Tart notes, spices and fine grained tannins provide excellent support to the fruit. Just like my prior bottle, this wine opened up and evolved over the course of several hours as it warmed form cellar temperature. I plan to open my last bottle in June/July 2023 given how well it's showing at present.

  • Yes, cherries and strawberries. Better on the second day. Excellent!

  • Flavors of sour cherry or unripe strawberries. Tastes like the fruit was picked too early for my taste.
