  Doing this from memory, and unfortunately didn't take notes. This is a beautiful wine drinking really well right now. Powerful and gorgeous aromatics of cherry, spice, and floral. Palate is balanced and delicious. Oak is noticeable but well balanced against the fruit creating an effect of vanilla and earthiness. Wish I had kept notes. This wine deserves better recognition.

  This wine has a bit of a savage soul, but lots of complexity. Nose has ripe black fruit, smoke, plum, and sweet apple pie spice. Palate is nicely medium bodied with bright acidity and assertive fruit. Palate has powerful ripe red bell pepper, fresh ground black pepper, green bell pepper, wet earth, americano coffee, candied fruit, and nutmeg. Finish is bright, mouthcoating, and very long. That finish alone makes the QPR excellent. Love this!

  An excellent example of a new world cab franc. Powerful black pepper, plum, spice, leafiness, and sweet red fruit on the nose. Medium body and acidity. Palate adds in very ripe red bell pepper and a smoky or ashy edge on the medium [+] finish. Nicely balanced and tasty wine.

  A very pleasant, nuanced Cab Franc. Perhaps not as much green pepper as I would like, but this full-bodied Cab Franc is quite smooth with a long, satisfying finish. Ready to drink now, but may gain character with bottle aging.
