Took a chance on a couple of these given the price; this bottle was very good; closed with diam which gives me hope the other bottle will be good too; initially still a fair amount of oak on the nose when opened; fleshy and full on the palate, but with lovely underlying acidity; after about an hour the nose really opens up and sheds the oak with meyer lemon, ripe pear and red apple, sweet spice and acacia; the palate continues to gain steam and gets fresher and fresher throughout the night. Very good. Definitely benefited from air, so plan for an hour or so at least.

La Paulée de New York - Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion): Delicious. Rich tropical fruits on the palate with a stony finish. A solid Pucelles.
