  Nose is earthy and dark fruit notes with still a sharpness that is pleasant. Palate has bright cherries, good acidity and significant fruit. No real sense of being done, but I wouldn't go another year with this one.

  The nose has a lot of depth -- dark fruit nose with earthy and cedar notes, but also a brightness. The palate is still fresh even though a bit more mellow than a year ago. Bright cherries on the palate, with good acid and dusty earthy noes. Very clean overall and long finish. Really seems like something more like a good brunello than a mere "rosso". I'm going to hold the last one until next year, since it clearly is still very vibrant.

  An ongoing surprise. A sangiovese that seems bigger than its classification of "rosso". The color, nose and body have surprsing heft. Very dark fruit on the nose with a bright cherry note amidst all the darkness and earthiness. The palate is intensely cherry with still bright freshness, a background of dusty earthy notes, and bright acid that really contrasts with the dark earthy notes. At first seemed medium length, but upon further sips got very long. Very clean overall.

  Light ruby color. On the nose smells of black currants, plums, cherries and blackberries. On the palate medium - bodied with extemely high acidity and some notes of wood and spices. A simple everyday wine.
