Clearly good underlying material but a bit awkward. Not sure if I should have let it rest more. Lots of typicity but did not integrate well. Last bottle so I will never know.

(Heavy sediment). Pale, primrose; a wild, untamed bouquet, grassy & herbal notes; dry, grippy, plenty of extract, flavoursome; impactful finish. Classic Cotat. Plenty more to come, merits leaving alone for an two+ years.

This is very tasty; a bit atypical, but not in a bad way; the nose initially was fairly reductive, but this blew off to reveal bright citrus fruit with some stony soil notes, and a bit of apricot and honey. The palate is taut, with good energy, but definitely has some residual sugar. Very tasty though not sure I could ever get this as Sancerre blind.

A touch of residual sugar. Very Cotat, expressive with SB subsumed by its terroir, approaching full maturity.
