Still drinking nicely at ~8 years old! Still fresh with plenty of fruit, structure, & acidity, though I don't think I'll hold onto my two remaining bottles much longer as it's not a super complex wine & probably not getting better.
On the nose, fragrant & fruity. On the palate, more of the same -- plum, violets, black pepper, & hints of eucalyptus. Soft tannins & nice acidity. Not a huge finish but a delightful & tasty table wine. We enjoyed with sausage spaghetti.

A steal at $13, this is dark, rich and smooth, perfect for charcuterie or hearty Italian (we had it with chicken cacciatore and linguine). At four years old it has come together nicely. Dark scarlet/almost black. Nose of fig and ripe plums with a bit of smoke and tar. Rich generous dark fruits clear across the palate, clean not jammy. Just enough tannin and a hint of bitterness in the finish to balance the rich flavor and avoid cloying. A worthy little brother to Amarones, and at the price an excellent PQR. (Ratings and reviews on CT seem stingy, perhaps this wine has evolved).

Smoky smoky smoky, especially on the nose. Very ripe on the palette of red fruits with no tannins . Unique of course just not my style, especially at this price point.

Lett jordlig venetovin med innslag av mørke bær og lær på duft. Kraftig og lett syrlig vin med moderat konsentrasjon og varm, tørr og rustikk finish.
