This wine tastes delicious. It is probably at its peak. There is some bricking in what is an otherwise opaque wine. Smells and tastes of black fruits (plum, black cherry), forest floor, perhaps eucalyptus, leather. The oak is integrated now. There is a freshness to this wine. There are tannins, but they are enjoyable, adding to a full, almost voluptuous mouth feel. There is a very long finish. I am impressed. In a blind tasting I would think Brunello. Shows you what I know. We had this wine with a Portuguese bean soup, some bread, and hard cheeses. It worked, but the wine would shine with heartier fare. If you have this wine in your cellar, it is time to open and enjoy!

Raspberry and blackberry up front with lots of oak on the back end, though short of berries and wood, not much else. Thick in the mouth with medium tannins and nice acidity that left my mouth watering more than expected. Finish was surprisingly long.

A very enjoyable and tasty wine. Fruity and earthy nose. Medium body. Sweet dark fruit taste. Fruity yet well balanced and has a nice leather like quality. A bit like the Spanish Prima. Definitely to repeat.

Plenty of oak and lots of berries. A very nice blend of grapes you rarely see.

Not going to win any awards but a pleasant blend with soft tannins that paired nicely with roasted chicken.
