Good RRV fragrance on the nose. Cherries and spice on the finish. At 10 years of age this is still fresh for fruits, although the acidity isn’t there. Not sure what more age would do now, the tannins have softened tremendously. No rush to drink but equally no reason to wait

Excellent bottle, fruit remains up front. Very food friendly. The community end-date for this Flax is this year - and so suggesting easily four more years to 2024.

O. My. God. This was good. Just open it was amazing. Flavors. Layers. The herbs the fruit. Opens up really well, but that first sip I still remember. I think I would age it longer. After an hour. Less fruit but a long sweet, kind of, finish. I can taste it for minutes. Front is muted fruit with herbs. Middle is yup. Same. Cherry undertones and good. Yum.

Amazing what almost 3 more years in the bottle will do. Last one I opened was in 2017, and this one presented like a completely different wine. Elegant. Medium light body. Raspberries on the nose. Dark red fruit on the palate. Mild tannins on the finish. 7 years young and still very youthful. Really developed nicely. I imagine this improving over the next 3-5 years.

This wine needs more time. Decanted for about an hour. Floral nose bouquet, but finish was edgy and harsh. I think in time this will all balance out. Will wait a bit before trying the next bottle. Still has potential to be wonderful.
