  A layered Cab from Temecula. Dark cherry leather chocolate vanilla with a hint of tobacco. Consistent cabs from Chapin year after year!

  Dark deep purple with little clarity. Warm nose of candied cherry and oak spices.
  
  The palate is very similar tot he nose, candied cherry, oak and some leather earthy elements. Not a complex wine but more of a juicy candied cherry wine. A little more RS than I would prefer but the tannin keep it in line.
  
  Good wine to drink alone or with small bites. Not sure how well it would stand up against a fatty protein though.
  
  Good QPR.
