Quince, apples and pear on the nose. Some mineral notes and slightly floral character, too. Citrus fruit on the palate - grape fruit, lime, lemon zest. Fresh, spicy and very vibrant. Good length. Very intriguing. 89-91

Pefumed floral nose with even more smoke, flint, and touch of funk than the Naucratis before it. Similar palate with grapefruits with a touch of bitterness on the finish. The acidity is lower and dry. I mean I pretty much guessed gewurtz (which is rare with Scholium), but it has just enough acid or mineral to keep it pleasant. The least rowdy of the whites perhaps as no skin contact.

7% Solution, SF 2015 (SF): Riquewihr = village in Alsace > Haut-Rhin where the Grand Cru Sporen (Hugel’s Jubilee Riesling) is located. among others. pale straw bordering on green, moderate concentration. Bitter, stinky nose - reduction, burnt match - something burnt. (it’s a bit cold so the nose is tight). P: Dry. A bit of terpenes but dominated by burnt reduction. High alcohol - I’d guess 14%. , diminished acidity as one would expect from Gewurz. $42 Around 7

Quince, herbs, mixed stone/citrus fruits and moderate minerals/florals. Light acid. Structured, somewhat complex but not focused. Best now.
