50% Negrette, 35% Cabernet Franc et Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah
A(ccuracy)=2: Medium deep purple; dense & tangy on opening. Took couple of hours to reveal distinctive flavors of Negrette. B(alance) =1: Acid and alcohol dominant in spite of ripe fruit. C(omplexity)=1: Sinewy and monolithic. D(epth) = 2: With adequate breathing, can appeal to full body lovers.

This wine seemed rather coarse and alcoholic (14.5%) until I cooled it to about 13-14°C. Then it became typically enjoyable Fronton with medium+ body, lively red and dark fruit, some mineral and that characteristic Négrette rubbery tang.

Much improved over the last tasting. More mellow. Needs a bit of time to open up. Still has some lingering bitterness, but it was much more enjoyable.

I add to my previous TN faint orange peel notes and an agreeable bitterness on the finish.
