Decanted ca 1 hour.Pleasant fruity and floral nose.Still vibrant palate with red raspberryish fruit and interesting discreet funky notes;some kind of herbs,a little oak and smoke.A slightly austere finish. Resolving tannins.Very smooth and delicious.Drinking nicely now.

Pale ruby, garnet rim, legs. Medium (+) developed nose of black fruit and vegetal aromas - smoke, tobacco, combined with beautiful animal notes - leather, wet wool and barnyard. Background also revealed medium notes of jam & caramel. Medium body, medium (+) tannin and medium (+) acidity. Long length dominated by black fruit (cherries), oak (smoke & vanilla), and ripe flavours of blackcurrant jam. Very nice. Overall a very good wine, great balance and concentration combined with long length. Ready to drink but can age another 5 years. Had it after a great meat ball soup. Cheers!

Initially some burnt notes and distinctive black olives. Medium tannins and long finish of tar. Lots of character but a little on the harsh side. Then decanted for 45 minutes. Lot's of smoked salmon on the nose, soft palate with a pleasing texture. I think I over agitated the wine, bruising is a bit trying to speed up the airation. Next time I'll be more gentle. Overall this was very enjoyable

Great dark color. Balanced fruit. Smooth and flavorful. Decanted for over an hour.

Decanted for an hour but it never opened up and was flat and uneventful. Looking at the other tasting notes, I think I had a flawed bottle.
