  • Tasted blind at SDG tasting
Clear dark yellow to gold core of moderate intensity out to a wide watery rim. Little development shown - colour could indicate warm conditions, grape type or barrel aging.
Clean nose of minerals, wet slate, straw, citrus with some yeast - moderate intensity. Youthful aromas - no oak indicated
Dry wine with peachy/lime sweetness on the attack - moderate intensity. Moderate+ mouth cleansing acids of lime juiciness. Moderate alcohol and moderate body. Medium finish with a small touch of alcohol heat and a bit of pink pearl eraser. Touch of bitterness on the finish.
Good quality - all the elements are there (acid/fruit in balance) to enjoy now. This is very much a drink now and enjoy wine - an excellent summer sipper.
