  This was ready to go right out of the chute. Meaty, smoky, juicy, savory. All the components melded together nicely from the outset. After a couple days the freshness of the fruit back off and a green olive note developed bringing even more appeal and complexity. It delivers from the nose to the finish with something for everyone. Nice effort that doesn't need to be hid in the back of the cellar.

  Some raspberry in the nose, but, then, more earthiness. Slightest hit of raspberry, but, mostly, earthiness, meatiness, maybe, mushroom on entry. A very interesting wine in that none of those flavors dominate. As soon as I detect one, it moves on and the next one steps in. Very modest in both tannin and acid. An outstanding wine.
