Two hour decant. Very very deep garnet purple color, with modest rim fade. Boysenberry, blackberry, fennel, strawberry jam, fresh portobello mushroom, and subtle caramel corn on the nose. Dry, satiny, full bodied palate, with nice, lingering acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This may have peaked last year (for my palate), but it’s still drinking great. Cheers y’all!
Placed in the decanter and started drinking by the 30 min mark. Tight and mute, bright acidity, felt like Italian or Spanish wine, lots of tannins. After 1.5 hours it changed drastically to show more fruit, chocolates, minerality and a classic Napa juice at its best. Hat it bind.
Drinking beautiful after 1+ hour decant.
Drink or hold.

Great wine. Needed to decant but needed it for dinner so hyperdecanted for 10 seconds. Nose was intact tannins silky smooth and finish was long. Real fruity with black berry focus

90 min decant. Very deep dark garnet purple color. Plum, black cherry, açaí, cremini mushroom, brown sugar, toasted almond and dark chocolate shavings on the beautiful nose. Dry, voluptuous palate, with fine acidity. Very full, plush tannins on the long finish. This Cabernet is drinking in prime time.
