  Mild, pleasant nose of cherry and black liquorice, with hints of violet and paprika. Palate is dominated by extremely powerful acidity, giving it power and structure in the absence of tannin. Flavours of lemon juice, strawberry, and cherry, with a touch of blackberry.

  Dark, advanced nose, with notes of blackberry, bay leaf, and cherry; fairly dense, but with an uplifting note of white grapefruit. Deep in the background there are notes of Dr Pepper and anise. The palate is dominated by tight, powerful acidity and a flavour of white grapefruit, with hints of red cherry and strawberry. With time, the wine becomes more strong-bodied and the red cherry flavour builds, but it remains acid-dominant. Very good with creamy pasta; due to the powerful acidity it drank like a white wine.
