Bright cherry, rhubarb, pomegranate fruit. Not much happening mid-palate, then a lot of acidity. Not great for a cocktail wine, but the acid makes it better with food, particularly something that need the fat cut, like our salmon.
7/10/2020 Noted the deep maroon color this time almost seemed incongruent with the bright, fruitiness of the wine.
12/2/2020 Opened this well before dinnertime and that certainly helped round out the acidic notes. Not a bad wine, but IMO it doesn't hold up to what Brian does with his single vineyard offerings even at the lower price point.

Bright, sour cherry, cranberry and pomegranate with a hint of spicy Chambord on the spicy and silky finish. Whiffs of toasty cinnamon and earth on the elegant bouquet. Consistently great SRH PN at a decent QPR.

Five years since last bottle. The rusty minerality has assertively taken center stage in the tart berry chorus. Very good but not LWCs best.

90 on night one and 91 two nights later. During the period between the two tastings, the bottle was vacuum sealed and refrigerated.

I am near the end of a case. There has been significant bottle variation. This was one of the best bottles.
