Moving stuff around in the cellar recently, I noticed this bottle had a leaky cork, and the fill was low in the neck, so I stood it up to see what the scoop was.
Color is still fairly opaque at the core, lightening out to translucent ruby on the rim. Nice mature nose with blackberry fruit and a hint of iron.
Seamless and expansive on the palate, with ripe blackberry fruit. Nice finish, and decent acidity. Really drinking well at 20 years - I believe this was their 2nd vintage.

Very nice, if not quite the delineation of the Torre Muga. Earthy blackberry fruit - I’m enjoying this

Well, in spite of 3 Inches of ullage, and a completely gone cork, was quite drinkable. Those, that have not lost any wine, enjoy!

Not well stored and totally maderized as a result.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle.
