Bright red cherry notes at first with a nice level of acidity and a lingering soft pepper finish. Enjoyed with a Thanksgiving Day feast. This Pinot had a lingering umami texture that gave a good balance for the turkey dinner.

Gorgeous wine. With purity of fruit and a melted richness this is one of the better Pinots I’ve had of late. Dark fruited and generous all around, with wonderful fig and walnut shell aromas in the background. The palate is about harmony and balance and an absolute articulation of a wine of place. Satiny and glyceriny, with plump and luscious black cherry fruit, immaculately integrated oak, and the perfect amount of sweet and savory elements. The long finish is draped in a silky, velvety mouthfeel that demands your attention and beguiles your senses. Lovely.

Full body (for a Pinot), super smooth acidity and tannins, medium finish. Fruity, honeysuckle and vanilla. Delicious. Paired very well with duck confit.

Deep, dark cherries and cola on a generous nose. Plush, concentrated ripe fruit; yet good energy, minerality and freshness. Long finish.
Clearly the winner of the 2013’s!!

Red cherry and plum on the nose. The alcohol was overwhelming at 14.5%, which surprised me. I was disappointed considering the hype at my wine shop.
