Second Sunday Group: 2003 vs 2005 Bordeaux 2nd Labels (R&D's): Courtesy of Neil. Popped and poured, the color on this was a faded ruby. Aromas of cherries, clay, earth, potpourri and florals. I could have smelled this all night, and it held in the glass quite well too. It did not lose a thing in the nearly forty minutes I spent nursing it. The palate is soft and balanced and features flavors of cherry, mineral and earth with the fruit lingering on the finish.
