  The hazy yellow color with slightly red-to-maroon highlights is obviously a bit deeper than that of a regular gueuze. Very dense, cream-colored and persistent head. Very rich, complex and intriguing nose that seems very nuanced and complex even for a gueuze - although probably not that attractive to lambic newbies! More pronounced notes of sweet ripe apple and some lemon juice, supported by dirty, funky and bretty notes of manure, leather, earth, some cloves and a hint of ammonia. Light and crisp palate with piercing racy acidity. Incredibly complex flavors of slightly oxidized nuttiness, lemon-driven citrus fruit, some bretty leather nuances and something horsey. Quite rich, frothy and balanced carbonation. Crisp, mouth-piercing finish with long bretty manure notes, browned apple, lemon, some dry pale malt character, a little herbal greenness and bitterness and a hint of clove and earth. In the finish, the hop bitterness (that is a surprising element in a gueuze) becomes more prominent.
  
  Incredibly complex, compelling and utterly delicious gueuze with a lot more character and attitude than some other Boon's gueuzes like the regular Oude Geuze and Mariage Parfait. A wonderful brew with good, hard acidity and a generous dollop of bretty funkiness. I wish I had a case of this - I'd love to see how this beer ages. This is easily one of my favorite beers of all time and I have a hunch that this could be a 100 point beer with some cellar age. A perfect brew that is more than a bargain at 3,29€ for a 37,5 cl bottle. I can't emphasize enough how good this beer is. Ever so recommended.
