Tasted after a one hour decant. Medium ruby in colour with a definite garnet hue. Lovely aromas of dried fruit & sweet earth with floral notes. On the palate, full bodied dried fruit, raisin/date, candied cherry, brown sugar, leather/tobacco, well integrated oak, high acidity, low to medium soft tannins, & a long very spicy/peppery finish. Definitely on the lighter, more elegant style of Amarone, even at 16% ABV. Very nicely done!

Deep red colour. Moderate legs on the glass. Had this wine over a couple of days and the subsequent day was much better. The breathing really brought out the flavours and body is much richer. Cherry, pepper, raisin and slight anise. Could easily sit in the cellar for a while.

The WOTN. Wafts of fruit rise from the glass with Nearly a fruitcake aromatic. An absolute stunner which I allowed to decant and in fact I gave it 3 hours with multiple aerations. Cherry pie start with an equal amount of creamy texture to complement the cherry. Medium bodied and filled with black cherry, some plum and a mild licorice finish.

Valentines Day with rack of lamb, a great dinner and a great wine. A lot of pleaseant floral notes on the nose, and delicious tasting.

Mørk rød, sort i senter.
Mørke tørkede søtlige bær dominerer lukten.
Mørke bær dominerer også smaken. Kraftig. Litt tanniner som sitter igjen i kinnene.
En helt grei Amarone.
