had this at the end of a night of wine tasting; pretty raspberry and dark chocolate notes; medium bodied; good balance; nice finish - tannins were rounded. very very good bottle

My last bottle of this vintage, and it is always a big hit with my wine group. This was part of a Cabernet and Cabernet based wine night at a local pizza joint. Year after year, the CVR is a great way to try QC's wines.

Lots of potential here. Still pretty tight and wound up. Opened and poured from the bottle but after tasting, decanting would have helped. Pretty concentrated still from the fruit side, don't know if it has the tannins to go super long. That said it's their table wine, so not expecting it to show a bunch of ability to age either way. Very new world, for the money better values for spend in France/Bordeaux.

banging on all cylinders. Deep opaque purple (almost black) Lively nose with plenty of oak, cedar wood, cigar box. Medium plus body with long satisfying finish.
